Gift wrapping
At ibuTrade, our aim is to make gift giving more meaningful and convenient. An ibugift means more as it has been selected for its originality, its creation by highly skilled and fairly paid artisans and its minimal impact on our precious environment. An ibugift is convenient as it is sent directly to the recipient, saving time, money and energy. We can also personalise your gift with your own message or you can give the gift of choice with an ibuTrade Gift certificate.
ibuTrade offers a free gift wrapping service. To minimise the use of unwanted packaging, we will only gift wrap a purchase if instructed to do so by you, by entering GIFTWRAP in the comments box of the checkout. We wrap all such gifts in beautiful Sa paper, handcrafted from bark in Chiang Mai. If you purchase a greeting card on ibuTrade, we can write a message in it at your request. Simply type your message in the comments box in the checkout. if required, we will use recycled packaging to protect your purchase. These materials either come from our own purchases or are collected from local businesses.
Delivery
Delivery within Australia is free for all ibuTrade purchases. We are able to offer this service as we do not have the overheads of a bricks and mortar store, plus why should you pay more for your good taste. Accordingly, the price quoted on the product page of our site, is the final price to be paid. We do not slip in any last minute surprises. If your purchase is to be sent directly to a third party, please ensure that you enter their delivery address in the checkout where indicated. We use Australia Post for most deliveries. All purchases valued over $150 are insured by ibuTrade. You can choose to insure purchases of a lesser amount.
For international deliveries, a postage surcharge will be added to the total payment depending on the recipient's location and the weight of the order. For example, a 500gm package to the UK will incur a $16.95 postage surcharge. Before your payment is processed we will email you the surcharge amount and await your confirmation to proceed with the order.
We endeavour to dispatch all orders within two working days of the payment being processed. Please note that delivery date estimates are in good faith only. if you feel that your purchase is not delivered within a reasonable time, please
contact us.
Returns Policy
By law a customer can claim a refund or replacement if the goods supplied:
- have a fault that the customer was not aware of at the time of purchase;
- are not as they were described.
At ibuTrade we extend our refund terms to include products damaged in transit. We also have a "quality" guarantee, where if you are dissatisfied with the quality of your purchase, we offer to exchange the product at no expense to you.
To claim a refund, a customer must:
- report the fault and return the goods within two weeks;
- provide details of the fault;
- provide proof of purchase;
- look after the goods until they are returned;
- stop using the goods until they are returned.
Your satisfaction is our utmost concern at ibuTrade, so please do not hesitate to notify us if you are not entirely happy with our services.
Privacy & Security
ibuTrade complies fully with the Privacy Act 1988. Customer details are only collected for delivery purposes or if a customer indicates consent to receiving ibuTrade promotional emails. In accordance with the Spam Act 2003, we will not send any unsolicited emails and if a customer no longer wishes to receive ibuTrade promotional emails, upon notifying us, their details will be permanently deleted from our customer database.
ibuTrade guarantees that all customer information is confidential and will never be shared with a third party.
The ibuTrade site is protected by a 256-bit SSL certificate and purchases are processed using the ANZ payment gateway. All payment details are encrypted for protection and are not stored. This ensures secure credit card transactions on our site, however we know that some people are not comfortable using credit cards online, so if you would prefer to phone, fax or post us your payment details, please feel free to do so. Upon completing the transaction, your details are securely discarded. Please note, NEVER email your credit card details as we cannot guarantee the security of your system. Likewise, do not disclose your credit card details over the phone to an unsolicited caller.
