This rug was designed by Nyukana Norris of Kaljiti Arts in the Anangu/Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara lands in central Australia and chain-stitched by skilled Kashmiri artisans with the highest quality Kashmiri wool. The Cross Cultural Projects give substantial benefits to all the participants in the production process. These rugs also make exquisite wall hangings. The results truly have to be seen and touched to be believed.
