These texturally exquisite rugs are created through Better World Arts Cross Cultural Projects. This rug was designed by Iwana Ken of Kaljiti Arts in the Anangu/Pitjantjatjara/Yankunytjatjara lands in central Australia and chain-stitched by skilled Kashmiri artisans with the highest quality Kashmiri wool. The Cross Cultural Projects give substantial benefits to all the participants in the production process. These rugs also make exquisite wall hangings. The results truly have to be seen and touched to be believed.

Iwana's lively image is of the desert landscape. Iwana has recently been developing her wildflower theme - Tjulpun Tjulpunpa - and developing a unique style which reflects the bounty and beauty of her desert home.
