Interrobang is an indie label based in Sydney. The line was started in 2006 when designer Cherie Rolph chose to reject a life running the rat race. Cherie believes in the indie movement; in the individuality and non-conformity that comes from hand made items. A practicing visual artist, Cherie has worked hard to create an interesting and useful product line that stands apart from mainstream trends. The Interrobang line is largely influenced by postmodernism, a blending of cultures and styles, and a reinvention of industrial materials.

At ibu we are proud to stock interrobang's handmade recycled seatbelt handbags and totes that are of the highest quality and also aesthetically eye-catching. Because of the nature of the seatbelt material, these bags are incredibly strong. The seatbelts are sewn together and then the seams are melted to make the strongest bags around. You could carry jars of mercury if you wanted to, they would oblige.
